If you need a break from your YouTube music playlist, check out these popular mental health and wellness YouTube channels. Listen to them while doing housework, taking a break from work, or while you are out on a run. I created four channel categories, mental health, meditation and relaxation, yoga, and motivation. Also, below is Finish Stronger Counseling’s channel link.
At some point, this topic usually comes up with my clients. It’s good to have multiple ways to cope and support your mental health. YouTube is also a good way to learn more about mental health. The more you understand how your brain works, the better you can take care of yourself.
The most important thing when you are watching a video is making sure that the information is coming from a trusted professional. – There is a lot of misinformation out there from celebrities, social influencers, coaches (non-certified), and I’m sure you can think of others.
These are just the channels that I’m subscribed to, there are several other good ones out there. The American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, Mental Health America, and PESI are actually a few continuing education providers that I use.
Meditation and relaxation
TED (Technology, entertainment and design)
I’m also a fan of TED Talks for educational and inspirational topics.

Disclaimer: I am a nationally certified and licensed professional counselor, however my YouTube channel is for informational purposes and for fun only.
The information provided in my content is not therapy. All of my videos are typically taken using a cell phone, so leave high expectations at the door. 😊
YouTube is not my expertise or focus, I prefer blogging mental health content. – Additionally, it is incredibly hard to create video content as a mom because of the constant noise and interruptions.
