Cultivate a Positive Mindset with Affirmations and Quotes

Find one that speaks to you, write it down, and place it somewhere that you will read it.

A positive mindset leads to positive results.

“The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.”

Winston Churchill

You got this.

Do what you love and love what you do. Lose yourself in your work and aim high. If you love what you do, chances are that you’ll find yourself that way. Trust what inspires you, as it can lift you to new heights.

Blossom like a flower, grow with slow purpose, in harmony, in your own time. Grow through your inner strength, sustained by the power of your spirit.

Count your blessings.

“All which we behold is full of blessings.”

William Wordsworth (1770-1850)

Withhold judgment. Being a critic is easy, you don’t need qualifications. Resist the temptation in joining with those who are negative and toxic. Take the positive path. When you see something that is wrong, consider how to better it.

“Don’t find fault. Find a remedy.”

Henry Ford

Embrace your potential. You have untapped potential, lying within, awaiting your call. Its greatest enemy is often fear, or lack of confidence. The only thing preventing you from reaching it is you.

“If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”

Vincent Van Gogh

Take a small step. Staging is the secret to many things. At a first glance, our big goals seem enormous and unachievable. Dividing them into smaller sections or stages makes them manageable. You will transform your journey.

“Progress is not accomplished in one stage.”

Victor Hugo

Appreciate success. Especially other’s success. It’s easy to feel jealous, and begrudge them their achievements, but most are being rewarded for their hard work. Use what they’re doing as an example and see if you can apply it in some way to your journey.

“Life is too short to be little.”

Benjamin Disraeli

You are not your work. Your job doesn’t measure your worth. It shouldn’t define you to others or to yourself. Your work isn’t going to last forever, so don’t allow it to dominate your views or your lifestyle.

“What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others.”

Confucius

Retain your power. No matter how great the pressure, or how confused the situation, utilize your personal power of choice. You have the final say, make your own choices, according to your beliefs.

“Life is the sum of all your choices.”

Albert Camus

There is good, take the time to notice it. Reflect on it throughout your day.

“If you don’t like something, change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.”

Mary Engelbreit

“If you are positive, you’ll see opportunities instead of obstacles.”

Confucius
